This is a very cool accomplishment for Captain Elite's 8th-grade soccer player, Sophie Wyshner, from Winston-Salem, NC.
Sophie was not only named to the First Team in the 2023 U19 Academy Soccer Cup in Florida but she went on to score 3 goals in the tournament. Spectacular for anyone and especially impressive as an 8th grader!

Even though her team lost in the final 2-1, the takeaway for us is that this is only the beginning of her journey. Her hard work training on her own and her grit will carry Sophie far, not only in soccer but in life.
